Expertise on pooled financing services for the water sector
The Hargeisa Water Development Fund (HWDI) brings partners together to support strategic water investments across Somaliland.
Through pooled financing, the Fund supports coordinated investment, sustainable water services, and stronger collaboration among government institutions, development partners, communities, and other stakeholders.
The underlying principle of pooled financing is recognition that some water challenges cannot be overcome by individual action, and that sustainable water security is achieved when partners work together.
